Ladies' Section
The Ladies' section at The Springs Golf Club is an active and developing part of the club. There are over 120 lady members of whom approximately half hold a current LGU handicap.

An integrated club...
The club is designed to be an inclusive one whereby ladies and men are encouraged to play together. Throughout the year therefore there are a variety of competitions open to both at weekends and during the week, although monthly midweek medals are organised separately for each.

Par 72...
There are two ladies' courses. Both are par 72. One is 5376 yards with a standard scratch score of 70. The longer course is 5651 with a standard scratch score of 72. Being close to the river Thames, it is a gentle walk but the course offers a good challenge.

The Ladies section meets on Wednesday mornings each week throughout the year. There is a Stableford competition on each second Wednesday and LGU medal on the last Wednesday of the month. Between these the ladies meet for a social round of golf or matches.

The Ladies have a full programme of matches against other local clubs, playing both home and away. There are also a number of mixed matches.

Are you a beginner?
Beginners are welcome at The Springs and from time to time the Ladies have special tuition clinics run by the professional. There are also opportunities for beginners to play with handicap players. Apart from Wednesday, Ladies may of course play at any other time.
